Official Rules


Please read these rules before entering the Take Courage Coaching Scholarship 2017. You agree that, by submitting an entry, you will be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all contest eligibility requirements. The administrator of this contest is Take Courage Coaching.

Eligibility. Anyone commenting on the contest post is eligible for entry. Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors or advertising/promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the contest.

How to Enter. You may enter the contest beginning at 11:00:00 a.m. (ET) on Jan. 31, 2017 and ending at 3:00:00 p.m. (ET) on Feb. 2, 2017 (the "Contest Period").

To enter, you must complete the requirements of the contest by submitting via the comment function why you would like to be the recipient of the scholarship. Limit one entry per person during the Contest Period. Entry may not be available on mobile devices. Comment entries delayed past the applicable receipt deadline will not be accepted. Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes. All days and times are defined by Eastern Time.

Other Promotions. This contest is limited to Facebook entry only. No other source of entry will be accepted.

Prize. We will award one (1) Grand Prize Half Scholarship that will be payable to Take Courage Coaching for the cost of the winner’s tuition in the Take Courage Coaching U program, beginning Feb. 7, 2017. Additional tuition costs as well as taxes are the responsibility of the winner. Except as required by law, these funds have no cast value and cannot be resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash, or applied to any other contest or tuition for any other dates.

The winner will be: (a) responsible for paying all costs and expenses related to the prize that are not specifically mentioned, including, but not limited to, taxes, and any other expenses that might reasonably be incurred by the winner in receiving or using the prize.

Prize Drawing. The winner will be selected at a random drawing to be held on or about Feb. 2, 2017. We must receive eligible entries during the Contest Period for them to be eligible for the drawing. We will notify the potential winner by Facebook message within 5 business days following the drawing, and he/she will be required to register for the TCCU training program beginning Feb. 7, 2017 as well as submit payment for the any remaining expenses. We will select an alternative potential winner if the potential winner does not claim the prize within 72 hours of notification, or meet the eligibility criteria. The prize will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

Odds of Winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Contest is open to over 100 million Internet users in the United States.

Additional Terms. We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change these rules or cancel the Contest at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Contest should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest or submission of entries.

We are not responsible for:

  1. lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries;
  2. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest;
  3. any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or software, malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or
  4. injury or damage to your or any other computer resulting from downloading any materials in connection with the Contest.

 We may, in our sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be:

  1. tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website;
  2. acting in violation of these rules; or
  3. acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

If your entry is incomplete or if you use robotic, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods, your entry will be void.

No greater than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. If any technical errors occur in the selection of a potential prize winner or if more prizes are claimed than the number of prizes being awarded as provided in these Official Rules, we may award the prize by random drawing from among all eligible claimants. No substitution or transfer of the prizes will be accommodated or permitted, other than as expressly set forth herein.

Miscellaneous. The Contest is governed by the laws of the United States. All rights reserved. The winner agrees (for himself or herself and his or her heirs) that, by accepting the prize, we, along with our affiliates and agents, and Facebook, will have no liability, and will be held harmless by the winner for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney's fees and court costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the Contest, even if caused or contributed to by our negligence. You agree that our decisions related to the Contest and all drawings are final. The winner agrees that, by participating in the Contest, we may use the winner's name in any manner and in any medium for our promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. We may ask for biographical information to share on related media with the permission of the Contest winner.

Indemnification. You agree to release and hold Take Courage Coaching, its employees, officers, directors, managers, members, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of the name Take Courage Coaching Half Scholarship including without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

Winner's List. One winner will be selected and will be posted to Facebook. Should a secondary winner be selected due to ineligibility of the first winner, that information will also be posted to Facebook.

Sweepstakes Sponsor. Take Courage Coaching.  The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

Privacy Notice: All information submitted in connection with this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules. No contest information will be shared. The entrant will share their comment to the Contest post of their own accord and no additional information will be captured for the purposes of the Contest by Take Courage Coaching. A valid email address will be requested from the Contest winner so that TCCU information may be exchanged between TCCU and the Contest winner.
