Kathryn has worked with several professional coaches to improve various areas of her own life and sees the potential it has to help people make lasting and meaningful changes in their lives—working as a coach in various areas of community development, wellness/fitness, and education. She lived with the chronic pain of joint degeneration, and then worked hard to regain strength and mobility after joint replacement surgery. Coaching those with pain is rewarding—“a work that makes my heart and soul happy,” she says.  Kathryn loves watching her kids play soccer and volleyball, and coaches youth sports  in Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her husband, two daughters, and one dog. She enjoys hiking, time on the beach, walking the dog with friends, and reading by the fireplace—all part of life that now includes her favorite things: movement and connection.
